Brick accepts unsolicited submissions of non-fiction on a variety of subjects. Your best guide to the kinds of things we like to publish is the magazine itself. It is not necessary to send a query letter to us regarding anything you think may be suitable for the magazine; simply send the submission itself. We strongly urge you to read the magazine before submitting to us, however.

We do not accept works of fiction or poetry of any type. Although we occasionally publish fiction and poetry, these works are solicited by the editors only. Submissions of fiction or poetry will be returned unread.

Brick prefers to receive submissions typed and double-spaced. We also accept submissions by e-mail with the text pasted into the body of the message, for ease of typesetting. For mailed submissions, include an e-mail address or a self-addressed stamped envelope (with appropriate Canadian postage or an international reply coupon) if you wish to hear back from us!
