Re: JPD 2012 Writing Journal

That's some deep research. It's good, though, for the feeling. The emotion can be so easy to miss.

Re: Personal Writing Site

I think he might have been on to something. Shuffle board always seemed like a little touch of hell.

Re: Personal Writing Site

I'd heard of serenarios like that. Maybe I need to start etching my work into stone.

Re: Personal Writing Site

When I was trying to piece together pieces to create "Without a Fuss", I was able to find a very early version saved to a flash drive. But at that stage the story had not even been completed for the first time. I then pulled together pieces from crits lingering here. A great many scenes we...

Re: Personal Writing Site

I noticed your signature RIP before reading this post. Sorry to hear of its passing. There's always the question of when to let go. I've been asking that question here off and on for the last three or four years.

Re: JPD 2012 Writing Journal

The young Co-Star of Hitchcock's THE BIRDS first appeared on his TV series. He liked what he saw and cast her for the movie. Can't remember the actress's name or the name of her character, but she's the younger sister who received the love birds as a present.

Re: JPD 2012 Writing Journal

I remember that episode now. It was a rather powerful piece as I recall. The fear of those who were trying to not displease him is what sticks with me.

Re: JPD 2012 Writing Journal

The Twilight episode sounds similar to "The Bad Seed".

Re: JPD 2012 Writing Journal

Very good. Hope it works well for you. I need to turn my attention back to book 1. I need to fix the ending, where my climax won't work in real life...and I have a good deal of typo's to correct in the newly added material. I've found electronic files of my older work, for which I'm thankful. It wen...

Re: FBI 3

Yep. I did love me that Exorcist once upon a time. When it was being re-released, I visited the promotion website, and was really turned off. But that was an overly exploitative site, not the movie. I haven't had a chance to finish this viewing, but it really is a well made movie. Haven't seen it in...

Re: FBI 3

He's an author I've heard much about but never read. Might have to change that. For Sci-Fi my favorite has probably been Philip K Dick, but he can be a bit too much at times. Watched the first half of the Exorcist this afternoon before being pulled away for lunch. Maybe shouldn't confess to that. Do...
