Better Fiction

New book begun.

Though I am 15,000 words into the 3rd FBI book, and need to do the rewrites of Book 1, I've started a new book, either a stand alone or a new series. In the last three days I've written 4400 words (about 18 pages). It's a much different style than my current series. Still mystery. The FBI will still play an important role, but the main character is a therapist.

In the other books I've settled into a pattern of a chapter break about every 8 pages. So far, I'm writing this one as if there were not chapters. It begins with a 1 page prologue. (I am usually anti-prologues.) The rest of it, for the moment, is all chapter one...and still writing.
